A WARM WELCOME TO ALL PARENTS AND CHILDREN
Naturally there is a lot of separation anxiety (both to the mother and child) when a baby is separated from his/her mother. With years of experience in this field, we have come to the conclusion that a pre-school is a better choice than a day mother/nanny purely for the reason of continuity.
Our toddlers know our staff, they do not have to be moved into a new pre-school environment (which would be the case with a day mother/nanny. Thereby saving the child unnecessary anxiety and having to get to know new carers.
Also, some parents are of the belief that a housekeeper can be both a nanny and a cleaner - this is not possible.
Most mothers struggle to clean and take care of a young baby alone, the same applies to a housekeeper.
Once Mum has gone to work, the housekeeper has to split her time between the child and her chores - there is no stimulation.
Furthermore, in the event of an accident taking place, we have trained staff to handle this situation and readily available transport to take the baby/child to the hospital if the need arises, saving precious time in an emergency situation.
